About the Role
Monocle is committed to producing, commissioning, and using beautiful, high-quality imagery across all platforms. As part of the photography team, you will play a key role in the creation and production of distinctive visual content. This role involves project managing and delivering allocated projects autonomously, acting as a conduit between photo and commercial teams to ensure high-quality delivery of commercially led products.
Responsibilities
- Project manage and deliver allocated projects autonomously.
- Ensure visibility of commercial projects across print, digital, books, experiential, and video.
- Manage the entire production process independently.
- Negotiate multiple work streams and stakeholders.
- Conduct picture research.
- Commission photographers and creative talent.
- Communicate effectively with clients, freelancers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience producing photography and video shoots for brands.
- Understanding of the production process.
- Solid understanding of usage rights and copyright relating to commercial photography.
- Attention to detail, initiative, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Experience producing short-form video content.
- Right to work in the UK.
