About the Role
This is a newly created role within the Technology and Property Systems team, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact. The position is ideal for someone with a Property Accounting or Finance background who is ready to transition into systems support, with a focus on Yardi. Full on-the-job training, mentoring, and support will be provided for Yardi administration and systems support skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Yardi Finance-related incidents, issues, and service requests.
- Investigate and resolve issues across bond processing, payment and BECS-related processes, and bank book reconciliation.
- Support Yardi finance modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Job Cost, and Bank Book.
- Assist with financial reconciliations, data validation, and month-end troubleshooting.
- Support financial data integrity and process compliance across the Yardi platform.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Document workarounds and resolutions in the shared knowledge base.
- Progressively build Yardi administration skills including user setup, access management, and system configuration, with on-the-job training provided.
Requirements
- Strong background in Property Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable/Receivable, or Lease Administration (finance side).
- Excited about transitioning into a Technology/IT Support career.
- Natural problem-solver with curiosity about how systems work.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Property Accounting, Accounting, or AP/AR in Real Estate - Build-to-Rent or Student Accommodation highly regarded.
- Hands-on Yardi experience. Voyager Core Financials, Bank Book, and Job Cost essential; CRM Flex or YPP a bonus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with genuine curiosity about systems and technology.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- No prior IT support or ServiceNow experience required, training and mentoring provided.
