About the Role
This is a newly created entry-level Procurement Analyst role within a function undergoing transformation. The role supports the Procurement Team with reporting, analysis, and administration to maximize value from third-party spend and ensure compliance with policies and legislation. It offers opportunities for learning, career development, and progression within the procurement function.
Responsibilities
- Support the Procurement Team with reporting, analysis, and administration.
- Maximize value from third-party spend.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external procurement legislation.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting.
- Act as a systems champion for finance and procurement systems.
- Serve as a key point of contact for procurement queries.
- Ensure accurate and robust record keeping and audit.
- Lead own procurement projects for development.
Requirements
- Interest in procurement, ideally public procurement.
- Highly organised and analytical.
- Good relationship-builder.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to extract, analyse, and present data meaningfully.
- Ability to manage own workload with competing tasks.
- Keen to develop a career in Procurement.
- Desire to commence with formal CIPS qualifications.
- Develop a sound understanding of public contracting regulations.
