About the Role

You will own a defined portfolio of products end to end, covering commercial, operational, and shop aspects. You will build and defend business cases, make decisions within an agreed commercial framework, and be accountable for your portfolio's results. This role involves managing a broad range of products across several brands and shops, from business case and positioning through launch, pricing, and performance. Product ownership also extends to the technical side, including specifications, print files, and production readiness, with support from a Product Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of your portfolio: opportunity, business case, development, launch, optimisation, phase-out.
  • Define the commercial aspects of your products: target audience, channel, positioning, naming, price structure, USP.
  • Manage the margin by building, defending, and adjusting business cases based on performance.
  • Oversee product presentation, configuration, and merchandising in shops, collaborating with UX and Design, measured by product page and conversion performance.
  • Deliver roadmap tracks against agreed dates and maintain transparent status updates.
  • Manage new product introductions and production transfers across European and US sites, ensuring specification integrity, first article, and go-live.
  • Handle product requests from B2B and retail partners, working with key account management and procurement.
  • Provide direction and quality assurance for the Product Specialist within your portfolio.

Requirements

  • Three to five years or more in product management, e-commerce, or running an online business.
  • Commercial fluency: ability to build, defend, and revise business cases.
  • Comfort with product data and systems: master data, PIM, ERP, production backends.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, web analytics (e.g., GA4), and BI reporting.
  • Experience using AI in a practical work context with concrete examples.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience building or running your own e-commerce business is highly relevant.
  • Experience leading a small team, formally or informally.
  • B2B customisation, private label, or retail account background.
  • Experience briefing and challenging UX and design work.
  • Multi-brand or multi-shop portfolio experience.
