About the Role
Vita Student is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for residents, starting their day with luxury breakfast offerings.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized service to residents by anticipating and delivering to their needs.
- Offer information on local attractions and handle inquiries with a focus on creating a seamless and positive experience.
- Greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly, and vibrant attitude.
- Be available for resident questions.
- Ensure facilities are being looked after respectfully by residents and guests.
- Maintain the upkeep of premium site and facilities, ensuring communal areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Deliver solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on all areas of the building.
- Manage and store parcels correctly for easy student access.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any potential incident or emergency onsite.
- Maintain waste management areas adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast foods in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Adhere to food safety regulations.
- Monitor produce stock levels and communicate needs to the site manager.
- Assist in ordering produce to maintain appropriate inventory.
- Ensure the kitchen and breakfast areas are clean and tidy.
- Deep-clean specific equipment or appliances as required.
- Replenish refreshment stock.
Requirements
- An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
- Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of communal areas.
- A background in a fast-paced kitchen environment with an awareness of kitchen regulations.
- Technologically astute, comfortable with various technology systems and software.
- Deliver a diverse and equal approach to colleagues and residents.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adaptability, creativity & positivity.
- Resilience, with an ability to effectively navigate unexpected situations.
- Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements.
- Flexibility to be available as required to ensure continuous service.
