About the Role
We are seeking a junior-level engineer with experience in algorithm development to join our team. This role is crucial for enhancing the 3D measurement capabilities of our industrial endoscopes, a key area for improving customer value. You will contribute to high-precision 3D reconstruction and measurement using compact cameras, requiring unique and advanced expertise. We aim to develop you into a specialist in algorithm development over the next few years, potentially leading algorithm discussions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulation studies and actual product evaluations.
- Develop algorithms (minor modifications, parameter optimization) and create software modules.
- Develop new 3D features, including new algorithm research.
- Perform element studies for improving 3D measurement performance, covering the entire measurement system including algorithms.
Requirements
- University degree or higher.
- Native level Japanese proficiency.
- TOEIC score of 500 or higher.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in algorithm development and implementation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in computer vision software development using libraries like OpenCV.
- Experience in software development including numerical computation programs (2+ years).
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python.
- Basic knowledge of optical principles (reflection, refraction, interference, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of image processing.
- Experience in algorithm development for 3D reconstruction (e.g., SLAM) and 3D point cloud processing.
- Experience in performance evaluation for 2D/3D measurement.
- TOEIC score of 650 or higher for English communication.
