About the Role
This role involves leading mechanical design and core technology development for ultra-small precision equipment such as the insertion part, optical adapter, and Micro Magnetic Actuator of industrial endoscopes, contributing to the safety and efficiency of social infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and core technology development for the insertion part, optical adapter, and Micro Magnetic actuator of industrial endoscopes.
- Develop new products by coordinating product specifications with the marketing department based on customer requirements, and proposing/executing production readiness checks with the manufacturing department.
- Collaborate with optical engineers and electronic imaging engineers on design.
- Mechanical design of small precision equipment including imaging and illumination optical systems and imaging circuits.
- Design of ultra-small actuators for Micro Magnetic actuators.
- Mechanical design of the bending mechanism and insertion part of endoscopes.
- Thermal design and environmental resistance design (drop impact, waterproof).
- Develop RVI mechanical platform technology and next-generation core element technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development of small precision equipment.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into quality function deployment and product specifications for design.
- Mechanical design skills.
- 3D CAD and drafting.
- Basic knowledge of the four mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of statistics for scientifically and logically analyzing evaluation results.
- Experience leading and promoting projects as a mechanical domain leader in product development projects (preferred).
- Experience in the launch phase of product development, such as production design (preferred).
- Skills in analysis such as structural analysis, thermal simulation, and impact simulation (preferred).
- Cause analysis skills such as FMEA and FTA (preferred).
- Ability to take initiative and propose/execute actions proactively, viewing problems as their own.
- Ability to lead and involve stakeholders to solve issues.
