About the Role
At Episcopal Community Services (ECS), employees work with participants who may be experiencing homelessness, behavioral health conditions, substance use challenges, and other difficult life circumstances. This position is a fully onsite, client-facing role that requires in-person interaction and direct service delivery to participants at ECS program locations.
Responsibilities
- Developing and overseeing the Support Services program.
- Collaborating with partnering agencies.
- Building an effective team.
- Creating program structure.
- Completing required documentation.
- Overseeing and coordinating social work provided to residents.
- Supervising Support Services staff, including clinical supervision, scheduling, hiring and termination, payroll processing, personnel documentation, and performance evaluations.
- Monitoring the completion, accuracy, and submission of paperwork by Support Services staff.
- Ensuring contract compliance.
- Attaining successful service objective outcomes.
- Adhering to reporting protocols and schedules.
- Managing a program budget.
- Leading the Services team in the rent-up and resident-stabilization process.
- Facilitating effective support groups and other group activities.
- Demonstrate behavior that supports the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Adhere to all program, funder, and organizational policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively and model integrity, fairness, and ethical business practices.
Requirements
- At least two years of supervisory experience is required.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team approach, and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing are essential.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- The ability to quickly assess and respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, conflict resolution and intervention, and other resident emergencies.
- Must possess a working knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and implementation.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of social services and mental health resources for low income families.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience supervising staff to include: selection of staff, training, development, performance evaluations, progressive discipline, taking appropriate disciplinary action and knowing when to partner with Senior Leadership and Human Resources.
- Must secure finger image screening and annual TB screening.
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position which may include long periods at a desk and/or computer workstation and lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Candidates with direct work experience related to mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, and/or child welfare will be given first consideration.

Salary/Compensations
- $84,157.59 - $87,941.00
