About the Role

Support the Drug & Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service (DASAS) by ensuring rosters, payroll, and daily priorities are managed smoothly, accurately, and on time. This role involves maintaining accurate patient records, data, reports, and documentation, coordinating reporting, audits, meeting minutes, document management, and supplies, and handling a range of day-to-day administrative tasks. You will communicate confidently with clinicians, staff, and customers, providing professional, responsive, and positive service, and thrive in a busy environment by working collaboratively and supporting the wider DASAS team.

Responsibilities

  • Keep rosters, payroll and daily priorities running smoothly, accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, data, reports and documentation.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality and confidentiality in record-keeping.
  • Coordinate reporting, audits, meeting minutes, document management, and supplies.
  • Handle a range of day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Communicate confidently with clinicians, staff and customers.
  • Deliver professional, responsive and positive service.
  • Provide support across reception, leave coverage and the wider DASAS team.

Requirements

  • Excellent time management skills with the initiative to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of patient administration systems.
  • Compassionate and respectful approach to patients and carers.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Confidence to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with people from diverse and marginalised backgrounds.
  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold an Australian visa that grants necessary work rights.

Salary/Compensations

  • $78,183.85 - $79,973.57 (pro-rata)
