About the Role
Seeking an experienced full-time MRI Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites within the East Metro Melbourne region. This role ensures high-quality imaging standards, optimized workflows, and safe, compliant practices while supporting advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites.
- Ensure high-quality imaging standards, optimized workflows, and safe, compliant practices.
- Support advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive clinical excellence, support staff training and assessment, and standardize MRI practices across sites.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in MRI
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
- Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)
- Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms
- Strong understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)
- AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License
- SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum)
- Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position
- Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
