About the Role

As a 1st Year Analyst in the Japan Coverage team, you will be a key player in the execution of the firm's business, working with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank. You will be highly enthusiastic about J.P. Morgan's mission and driven and committed to its success.

Responsibilities

• Play a role in implementing the execution and deal origination function, including assisting more senior bankers.
• Process strong function skills in the major areas of investment banking.
• Demonstrate high enthusiasm towards J.P. Morgan's mission and be driven and committed to its success.

Requirements

• Japanese language proficiency is required to support Japan clients.
• A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.

Skills

• Understanding of the transaction cycle and its process steps; execution oriented.
• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, business writing, and process management skills.
• Proficiency in business-level English is preferred, though not mandatory, with a strong willingness to learn and improve.
• Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
