About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to grow your legal career within Deloitte's Litigation and Disputes team, working across a broad mix of matters including client disputes, regulatory issues, and complex legal challenges that shape firm-wide risk decisions. You will support a team of lawyers in the Office of the General Counsel, providing day-to-day advice to stakeholders across Deloitte's practice groups and Enabling Areas, contributing to the firm's response to legal, regulatory, and reputational risk.

Responsibilities

Work across client disputes and litigation, professional indemnity matters, regulatory issues, third party information access requests, debt recovery and general commercial advice.
Provide day-to-day advice to stakeholders across Deloitte's practice groups and Enabling Areas.
Collaborate with experienced lawyers and internal stakeholders across the business.
Balance research, drafting, document review and stakeholder communication in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

1 to 2 years' relevant experience in a law firm, in-house legal team, or as a tipstaff or associate.
Experience drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Experience conducting legal research.
Experience supporting document reviews.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Clear communication skills and the ability to explain legal issues in a practical, accessible way.
Confidence building trusted relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders at different levels.
