About the Role
Lead the branch’s performance and risk reporting, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and actionable for decision-makers. Shape reporting processes, provide meaningful insights, and improve data collection, analysis, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain reporting tools and processes to analyse and communicate key business performance metrics, trends and insights.
- Act as the branch reporting process and tools owner, leading continuous improvement for reporting accuracy, efficiency and insight generation.
- Design, enhance and manage dashboards and data visualisations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to provide transparent and timely performance insights.
- Ensure performance information is accurate, complete and fit‑for‑purpose to support effective business performance management and issue identification.
- Maintain reporting systems that identify and analyse performance and project risks, enabling proactive mitigation strategies.
- Monitor progress against annual business plan deliverables, KPIs and milestones, providing recommendations to support continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to strengthen reliability and alignment across reporting channels.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to embed performance- and risk‑aware practices and support evidence‑based decision-making.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in performance reporting, business analytics and risk management in a large or complex organisation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance monitoring tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clear, concise reports to senior audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or relevant industry experience.
