About the Role
This role will help drive growth across existing and new partnerships while supporting strong member outcomes. You will be the key point of contact for partners, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective governance, strategic planning and day-to-day partnership performance. This role suits someone who enjoys working across strategy, operations and relationship management in a dynamic, member-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor performance, commercial terms and vendor risks, and support retail acquisition strategies, strategic planning and business growth objectives
- Develop joint annual and long-term partnership plans, including forecasts, roadmaps and strategic initiatives that support growth and retention
- Build and manage partner relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and escalating issues where needed to support positive outcomes
- Lead partnership governance across monthly, quarterly and annual forums, ensuring clear decision-making, follow-through and service delivery
- Coordinate Mercer’s input across internal teams such as product, marketing, finance, risk and compliance to deliver agreed partnership objectives
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve member engagement, operational efficiency and digital uptake across the partnership
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and managing partnerships that deliver sustainable growth and value for businesses and members
- Experience in vendor governance and management, supported by contemporary vendor management tools
- Sound understanding of superannuation, along with knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Strong relationship management, communication, problem-solving and project management skills
