About the Role
As an intern in Capital Markets on the Private Credit team, you will gain an engaging work experience applying analytical skills and passion for markets at a leading investment firm. You will experience the dynamic nature of the trading floor environment, focus on direct credit investments globally, and assist the deal team in evaluating opportunistic credit investments and monitoring existing portfolio investments. The team embraces diversity of thought and prides itself on a strong learning culture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the ongoing performance of the portfolio.
- Support reporting requirements.
- Work closely with junior members of the deal team to conduct investment analysis.
- Develop investment theses, including memos for the underwriting committee.
- Participate in a term-length portfolio management case to develop and test investment skills.
- Explore the work of other groups by attending networking and lunch-and-learn sessions.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in 3rd / 4th year or related Masters’ program.
- Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed.
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
