About the Role

As an intern in the Capital Markets department, you will gain an engaging work experience applying analytical skills and passion for markets at a leading investment firm. You will experience the dynamic nature of the trading floor environment and focus on direct credit investments globally, assisting the deal team in evaluating opportunistic credit investments and monitoring existing portfolio investments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the ongoing performance of the portfolio
  • Support reporting requirements
  • Conduct investment analysis with junior members of the deal team
  • Develop investment theses, including memos for the underwriting committee
  • Participate in a term-length portfolio management case
  • Explore the work of other groups
  • Attend networking and lunch-and-learn sessions

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in 3rd / 4th year or related Masters’ program
  • Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located
