About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in analyzing potential new investment opportunities.
  • Manage existing investments.
  • Hone financial modelling abilities by analyzing investment opportunities.
  • Learn to identify key value drivers and risks for investments and perform related sensitivity and scenario analyses.
  • Support due diligence exercises.
  • Prepare valuations, presentations, and reports to senior investment professionals.
  • Develop and analyze business cases for portfolio company value creation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree with a concentration in investments, finance, or accounting.
  • Previous intern experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or equity research, with specific infrastructure or natural resources experience required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and initiatives while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Must be enrolled in 3rd / 4th year or related Masters’ program.
  • Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
