About the Role

Responsibilities

Assist the team in analyzing potential new investment opportunities.
Manage existing investments.
Hone financial modelling abilities by analyzing investment opportunities.
Learn to identify key value drivers and risks for investments and perform related sensitivity and scenario analyses.
Support due diligence exercises.
Prepare valuations, presentations, and reports to senior investment professionals.
Develop and analyze business cases for portfolio company value creation initiatives.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree with a concentration in investments, finance, or accounting.
Previous intern experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or equity research, with specific infrastructure or natural resources experience required.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform in-depth analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and initiatives while remaining detail-oriented.
Must be enrolled in 3rd / 4th year or related Masters’ program.
Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
