About the Role
EY Parthenon Energy Lead Advisory is rapidly growing and aims to be the leading team in the energy sector, driving energy transition through client support in acquisition, financing, and divestment processes. The team also provides commercial and strategic advisory services, driven by a passion for accelerating the energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on acquisitions, finance raising, and divestments, from single assets to whole companies.
- Develop and enhance understanding of the Australian Energy Market.
- Craft clear, well-structured reports and presentations for various use cases and clients.
- Produce and analyze financial models to assist debt or equity capital processes and evaluate asset/company value.
- Provide inputs into key legal and commercial documents required in a transaction environment.
- Collaborate with other advisors (e.g., tax, legal) to achieve successful transaction outcomes.
- Contribute to business development through marketing materials and proposal production.
- Foster meaningful relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Provide insightful commercial, financial, and strategic advice to a diverse client base.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in transactions (acquisitions, financing, or divestments).
- Experience in the energy sector.
- Experience in financial modelling.
- A keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians.
- Clear thinking and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
