About the Role
The PCR Coordinator owns the end-to-end PCR pipeline, triaging new requests, routing evaluations, coordinating testing, chasing approvals, recording decisions, and driving implementation. This role ensures that product changes are evaluated, tested, approved, and implemented efficiently and without delay, maintaining visibility and accountability throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Intake and triage every new PCR in the Jira PCR project within a defined SLA, confirming completeness and routing or rejecting with a clear reason.
- Route evaluations to Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales, setting due dates and chasing owners.
- Coordinate Test & Integration by submitting and tracking FSF requests, test requests, and test-data requests.
- Track approvals per the PCR Procedure, schedule and run the change review forum, and record decisions.
- Own pipeline visibility through aging reports, status dashboards, and weekly summaries.
- Escalate stalled PCRs past 30 days to the accountable functional lead.
- Drive changes through implementation, including BOM and drawing updates, document releases, and plant readiness.
- Own and improve the PCR process, including intake forms, approval matrix, automation rules, and requester training.
- Support quality audits with complete, auditable change records.
Requirements
- 1-3 years coordinating change control, engineering services, or cross-functional projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ECO/ECN/PCR processes, BOMs, and drawing control.
- Fluency with Jira and Confluence, including service desk queues, linked work items, and dashboards, or demonstrated ability to master them quickly.
- Relentless follow-through to chase owners to dates and close loops with requesters.
- Clear, concise written communication skills.
- Comfort saying no to incomplete or out-of-scope requests and holding the process line.
- Experience with electric motors, drives, or power electronics products (nice to have).
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 change-management and document-control requirements (nice to have).
- Spanish proficiency (nice to have).
- Experience building or improving Jira Service Management intake forms and automation (nice to have).
