About the Role
The Fitness Specialist is responsible for developing and running Sports Specific Strength and Conditioning programs for athletes aged 5-18. This includes program development, instructor supervision, class scheduling, member engagement, and operational excellence, aiming to inspire a culture of health and community through innovative fitness experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and run sports specific strength and conditioning programs.
- Supervise instructors.
- Schedule classes.
- Engage members.
- Ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the Fitness Director on program progress and outreach.
- Create new ideas to attract outside groups for high-performance athlete training.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Fitness Training or Sports Conditioning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and ability to work with children of all backgrounds.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
