About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Product & Technology Owner to define the future of Portfolio & Transactions Management products. This role acts as a bridge between the real-estate strategy, transactions and estate management business and the technology that will serve it, translating business needs into clear, prioritised requirements for product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the business requirements for the Portfolio & Transaction Management product, ensuring they are elicited, structured, prioritised, and maintained as the single source of truth.
- Translate business needs into product by turning strategy, processes, and pain points into user stories, acceptance criteria, and a prioritised backlog with the Global Product Owner.
- Lead discovery and definition by running workshops and interviews across global, regional, and market stakeholders to define the future-state capability.
- Drive business process change by designing the target process alongside the product and planning change adoption.
- Bridge business and technology by working with solution and engineering teams to pressure-test feasibility, shape options, and ensure requirements are logically sound and buildable.
- Prioritise and trade off value, effort, and risk across a broad set of demands, making the reasoning transparent. Own and drive the prioritisation of work delivered by technology teams/pods, balancing business value, risk, resilience, and delivery constraints.
Requirements
- Business domain knowledge in real estate (leases, strategy, business estate services), portfolio or corporate services, and their associated processes.
- Logical solutions and technology capability, with the ability to reason about system design, data, and integration without being an engineer.
- Proven experience in redesigning business processes and embedding new ways of working.
- Stakeholder management skills, with comfort operating across split reporting lines and competing priorities.
- Data-led judgement, using evidence and analytics to frame decisions and trade-offs.
