About the Role
Lead the development and commercialisation of HSBC’s digital identity and authentication solutions within Transaction Banking, driving innovation, operational excellence, and risk management across Client Connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the product roadmap for digital identity and authentication solutions serving corporate and institutional clients.
- Oversee product lifecycle management.
- Manage product risks.
- Partner with business and control functions to shape solutions that underpin secure, seamless client journeys.
- Develop and execute a strategic product roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving client needs, regulatory requirements, market infrastructure changes, and emerging technologies.
- Set direction for new product solutions and enhancements by prioritising delivery, monitoring progress, and ensuring visibility across stakeholder groups.
- Champion collaboration with market management, technology, cyber security, fraud, risk, and compliance teams to translate requirements and threats into actionable product solutions.
- Oversee product governance, including regular reviews of performance, financial metrics, and closure of risk-related issues impacting operational efficiency.
- Drive commercialisation initiatives to maximise uptake, partnering with frontline and business readiness teams.
- Maintain strong communication on product developments, connecting digital identity initiatives to broader Client Connectivity strategy.
Requirements
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in digital identity, authentication, and digital channels, preferably within a corporate banking environment.
- Expertise in authentication concepts and regulatory application.
- Prior success in product/channel management, with the ability to deliver and commercialise digital capabilities or service enhancements.
- Experience navigating complex, regulated environments and collaborating across risk, compliance, cyber security, and technology teams.
- Exposure to Agile or Scaled Agile delivery environments and familiarity with delivery team roles.
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to simplify complex ideas and use client-centric language.
