About the Role

As a vital member of our Network Maintenance Group, you’ll be on the front line responding to urgent callouts, repairing broken water mains, maintaining critical water and wastewater assets, and delivering exceptional service to our community. You may also take on more complex jobs or play a key role in supporting daily work coordination.

Requirements

  • Hold a Medium Rigid (MR) Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, or be willing to obtain one upon successful selection
  • Hold a SafeWork NSW Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of application
  • Must live within the Sydney Metropolitan area
  • Must be able to reach the Networks Maintenance production area within 30 minutes when contacted for an after-hours emergency response

Education Level

  • Licensed plumber
  • Trade Certificate in Plumbing (CPC32420) or equivalent experience
  • Trade Certificate in Water Industry Operations (NWP30219) or equivalent experience
  • Trade Certificate in Civil Construction (RII30920) or equivalent experience
  • Excavator ticket
  • Confined spaces ticket

Salary/Compensations

  • Base Salary EA2A $70,480.62 (per year for a 38-hour week, plus super)
  • Afternoon/night shifts with allowances
