About the Role
We are seeking a professional to continuously test applications within the GMM product family, focusing on secure communication for authorities and the justice system. This role involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and support teams to ensure high product quality through meticulous testing and error analysis.
Responsibilities
- Continuously test applications of the GMM product family in the area of secure authority and justice communication.
- Coordinate continuously with developers, product owners, and support on open test cases, errors, and tickets to ensure high product quality.
- Perform exploratory and situational error analysis and quality assurance.
- Support the product development cycle and risk assessment through test reviews.
- Set up and conduct various test procedures and methods at different points in the product development cycle.
- Create, maintain, and further develop test cases and test scenarios for manual and automated tests.
- Analyze complex functional and technical error patterns across system and application boundaries.
Requirements
- Minimum training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on application development.
- Initial experience with professional software testing for both frontend and backend applications.
- Knowledge in the area of encrypted communication and integration with third-party systems, especially in the OSCI/EGVP context, is desirable.
- Experience with test automation is an advantage.
- Ability to systematically derive test cases and analyze error causes in a structured manner.
- Understanding of agile software development and working in an agile team.
- Very good German and English language skills.
- Prerequisite for employment: Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ1 / SÜ2).
