About the Role
As a Senior Program Officer, you will manage a portfolio of projects that deliver real improvements to services, processes, and outcomes for injured people. You will work across diverse initiatives, bringing structure, insight, and leadership to ensure programs and projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with impact. You will manage and monitor the performance of a grants funding program and associated projects to ensure integration and alignment with organizational objectives and optimize outcomes for injured workers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the oversight of the ILARS funding program to ensure it is meeting the program objectives
- Lead projects and initiatives to support the delivery of the ILARS funding program
- Identify interdependencies, risks, and opportunities across the program and across interdependent projects and initiatives across the IRO
- Ensure strong governance, reporting, and quality assurance
- Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Use data and insights to inform decision-making and track performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement and better service delivery across the schemes
- Manage program governance, risks, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience delivering programs or projects in complex environments
- Ideally, knowledge of workers compensation, insurance, or human services systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to public sector values and ethical decision-making
- The ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
