About the Role

Support the Chief Curator in managing and delivering exhibitions and related projects, including publishing. Responsibilities also include the overall care, conservation, acquisition, research, interpretation, exhibition, and display of the collection, along with curatorial administration and general support.

• Oversee the care, conservation, acquisition, research, interpretation, exhibition, and display of the collection.
• Provide curatorial administration and general support.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree in art history or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the department’s art.
• Curatorial experience or equivalent professional training in the arts sector, art gallery, or art museum sector.
• Proven experience in writing and researching to an academic standard.
• Ability to use Vernon CMS and/or other databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work responsively, dynamically, and collaboratively on a wide range of curatorial projects and related programs.
