About the Role
Spectrum Vision Partners (SVP) and OCLI Vision are seeking Ophthalmic Technicians to support doctors and ensure a smooth patient experience. This role involves handling pre-exam work, gathering patient information, performing routine tests, and assisting with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Record vision, depth, color, and peripheral tests
- Apply eye drops and collect/process specimens
- Triage emergencies and manage patient flow
- Prepare rooms and assist doctors during procedures
- Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology (a plus, not required)
