About the Role
Mercor is seeking its first GTM Engineer to build the infrastructure powering customer acquisition, service, and expansion. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, growth, and marketing, transforming manual processes into scalable, production-grade systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the data and automation infrastructure for Mercor's go-to-market organization, including account & contact enrichment, and outbound and email tooling.
- Partner with Marketing, Revenue, Operations, and Engineering to translate business requirements into scalable data models, workflows, and technical systems.
- Build and maintain reliable integrations across Mercor's GTM stack (Attio, Customer.io, Clay).
- Develop dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and self-serve reporting for GTM leaders.
- Own the quality, documentation, and governance of GTM data.
- Build AI agents to automate lead research, enrichment, routing, campaign execution, outbound personalization, and customer intelligence.
- Deploy production-grade automations using frontier language models, APIs, workflow orchestration, and modern data infrastructure.
- Rapidly prototype AI-powered workflows, measure business impact, and scale successful experiments.
- Introduce new AI capabilities to increase the leverage of Mercor's go-to-market teams.
- Build reliable, observable data pipelines and workflows for customer-facing teams.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and automate repetitive processes across the customer lifecycle.
- Improve TAM mapping, account and contact enrichment, rules of engagement, attribution, and lead routing.
- Champion a culture of data quality, documentation, and rapid iteration across Mercor's go-to-market organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, data science, growth engineering, revenue operations, or a similarly technical role.
- Track record of building reliable systems in high-growth environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Excellent technical fundamentals and ability to work across modern data and AI infrastructure.
- Experience building data pipelines, integrating APIs, and designing reliable workflows across business systems.
- Strong intuition for go-to-market operations and ability to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working with modern data warehouses, orchestration tools, and BI platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Looker, Hex, or similar).
- Builder's instinct: take ownership of ambiguous problems, move quickly, and know when to build for speed versus long-term scale.
- Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience thriving in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
