About the Role
Armoured One in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Technician to safely manage the glass production process, perform routine machinery maintenance, and implement quality control standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize glass shipments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production machinery.
- Load glass onto the Glass Washer and Laminator, adhering to dimensions for optimal safety and efficiency.
- Manually operate the Glass Washer to clean glass.
- Operate the Laminator with safety protocols and attention to detail.
- Organize glass by dimension and project, recording discrepancies, scrap, and production numbers.
- Record operations through Trello for order tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and work areas.
- Manage inventory of production materials, cleaning supplies, and tools.
- Stage glass in the designated shipping area for final inspection and crating.
- Perform routine building cleaning as needed.
- Adhere to all Personal Protection & Equipment procedures.
- Adhere to all Cleanroom procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's license and dependable transportation required.
- Employment subject to pre-employment background screening.
