About the Role

This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting Arrow mainframe systems, specifically focusing on cost and adder content for market price items. You will ensure adherence to supplier strategy and selling company price models, monitor supplier performance, and handle daily price quotation requests from sales offices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Arrow mainframe systems for cost and adder content specific to market price items.
• Perform duties in accordance with segment supplier strategy matrix and selling company price model.
• Monitor and measure supplier performance, including first call effectiveness and quote exception activity.
• Provide input for supplier performance measures.
• Respond to requests for price quotations from Arrow sales offices on market price items.
• Petition suppliers for price quotes via online system, spreadsheet, or email.
• Monitor, measure, and report performance metrics specific to individual responsibility.

Requirements

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2-4 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Has limited discretion to vary from established procedures.
• Works under general supervision.
• Beginning to solve some straightforward problems.
• Has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
