About the Role

Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end design and implementation of product requirements, including task breakdown, delivery, testing, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Generate simple and elegant designs, and write high-quality code that is easily understood and leveraged by others.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate feature/product specifications into reality.
- Influence platform features and direction with your own ideas and proactively identify opportunities to improve business processes.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle: problem definition, design, development, testing, demoing, and supporting production use of owned features.
- Balance immediate business objectives against long-term architectural vision.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer.
- Fluency in an AI-forward SDLC, utilizing LLMs/agents for rapid development while maintaining production-grade quality.
- Experience with Go (or a comparable strongly-typed backend language).
- Experience with distributed systems, infrastructure, and scaling.
- Experience with LLM harnesses or agentic systems.
- Experience with concurrent or async processing.
- Strong fundamentals in software design principles (SOLID or equivalent) and their application.
- High degree of autonomy, comfortable taking ambiguous problems to well-reasoned designs and shipped solutions with minimal supervision.
- Integrated testing, monitoring, and reliability into the coding process.
- Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end, front-to-back, when required.
- Passionate about Attention’s mission and able to empathize with users and their product interactions.
- Prior experience building, launching, and maintaining products in a fast-paced environment at scale.
- Enjoyment of cross-functional and collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Grit and adaptability, with the ability to thrive working with an early-stage team and navigating the unknown.
