About the Role
Fitch’s North American Corporates Group is seeking a Senior Analyst to cover the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector. This role offers an opportunity to be a lead coverage analyst at a global rating agency within a team-oriented work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sectors
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models
- Engage with industry management teams to gain insights and enhance analysis
- Present analysis of companies to internal credit rating committees and participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates, as well as other related credit groups
- Communicate rating rationale to external audiences (primarily institutional investors, sell-side analysts and media) in meetings, conference calls, press releases and written research reports
- Contribute to the writing of timely and effective research on topical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred
- 3-5+ years relevant experience depending on the title
- Some coverage or knowledge of the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector a plus
- Capital markets and/or credit analysis experience a plus
- Expertise in Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change and work in a team-oriented environment
