About the Role

This role focuses on managing, coordinating, and operating 1:1 communication channels (email, SMS) to bring campaigns to life and ensure their successful delivery. You will collaborate with various departments and external partners, guiding stakeholders towards best practices and ensuring campaign quality, operational efficiency, and improved marketing ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of communication requests across multiple brands, ensuring timely and budget-aligned project delivery.
  • Act as the primary contact for project kickoffs and campaign launches, developing schedules and managing feedback/approval processes.
  • Review and refine project briefs, copy, assets, and creative standards to align with brand guidelines and performance marketing best practices.
  • Analyze past performance data and key metrics to generate insights and identify opportunities for ROI optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and propose proactive solutions.
  • Ensure all practices meet legal and ethical standards, including CASL, PIPEDA, data privacy, and anti-spam legislation.
  • Craft compelling email copy, including subject lines, body content, and calls to action (CTAs).
  • Create visually appealing and mobile-responsive email templates using design tools or platforms.
  • Conduct A/B tests on various email elements to improve engagement and adjust strategies based on results.
  • Ensure emails are free from errors in spelling, grammar, formatting, and functionality.
  • Coordinate email campaign timing based on audience, optimal send times, and deadlines.
  • Manage and update email lists, ensuring correct segmentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor email performance using analytics tools and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure successful email delivery to recipients' inboxes and address any deliverability issues.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, email marketing, marketing operations, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience executing customer communications.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Experience building, testing, scheduling, and deploying email and/or SMS campaigns.
  • Experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, understanding CRM data, audience segmentation, and customer attributes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with experience testing and reviewing campaigns.
  • Comfortable analyzing campaign results, conducting A/B tests, and translating insights into improvements.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, customer journeys, lifecycle marketing principles, and email/SMS best practices.
  • Familiarity with CASL.
  • Collaborative and curious mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confidence to guide stakeholders toward best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
