About the Role
Learn It Systems is seeking a part-time Licensed School Counselor to work in K-8 classrooms, joining a growing team focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom guidance and promote student engagement and performance on a one-on-one or small group basis.
- Consult and develop rapport with parents, classroom teachers, school principals, and other school personnel.
- Maintain open communication and provide local resources to school staff and parents as needed.
Requirements
- School counseling licensure or Social Worker licensure required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience preferred.
- Experience working with Title I students is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Ability to go up and down stairs in a school building.
- Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
- Hand dexterity for typing and data entry.
