About the Role
As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment to help both adults and children improve their swimming. You will teach life skills to our youngest members, evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level, and help maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
- Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
- Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
- Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services
Requirements
- Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hire
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
Skills
- Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
Education Level
- Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
