About the Role

The Decision Intelligence Products and Platforms Team is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Steward for North America Commercial to organize data taxonomy, connections, and accuracy for commercial sales data sets. This role involves understanding sales metrics, aligning definitions with local teams, and coordinating with developers and data engineers to implement business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a conceptual structure of data and formulas used.
  • Design and recommend appropriate analytical approaches to improve business reporting.
  • Assure data quality.
  • Act as an agent of change within Kraft Heinz, using data, statistics, process, and social skills to optimize the usage of commercial consumption data.
  • Foster a positive team environment, showing genuine interest in colleagues' well-being.
  • Partner with North American teams and other teams on structuring large-scale data sets and data projects.
  • Liaison with internal and external partners to understand business peculiarities and develop data sets for analytics.
  • Maintain a backlog of desired improvements and bugs.
  • Guide team members in solving backlog issues and developing improvements.
  • Accountable for data sets, formulas, and mappings for North America Commercial reports and models.
  • Find efficient ways to manage data sets.
  • Coordinate with teams to improve and ensure data accuracy.
  • Align with senior team members on global objectives.
  • Maintain and implement improvements on data sources and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree (MBA included), preferably in computer science, statistics, data science, or business.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in CPG or Commercial Analytics.
  • Previous experience working with Consumption (sales data) data sets is valued.
  • Strong understanding of code languages for data manipulation.
  • SQL required.
  • Snowflake and Python experience are helpful.
  • Solid understanding of BI tools and experience manipulating data for BI solutions, preferably Power BI.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong social skills, with the ability to understand context and drive the analytics agenda.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of commercial consumption metrics (understanding terms and how to calculate KPI).
  • Familiarity with systems like Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, and Collibra is recommended.
  • Strong ownership and commitment to drive positive change in challenging environments.

  • $96,200.00 - $120,200.00
