About the Role

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking compassionate, skilled, and client-centered Mental Health Therapists to join our growing behavioral health team in Brooklyn, New York. This role offers a flexible opportunity to make a meaningful impact while serving individuals and families throughout the New York City area, providing therapy services through a combination of telehealth and onsite services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care
• Support clients in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and wellness goals
• Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, care managers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions
• Coordinate referrals and connect clients with community resources
• Support continuity of care and patient advocacy
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Maintain treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and professional standards
• Follow organizational policies and clinical best practices

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active New York State license or permit in good standing, including: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, MHC-LP, LMFT, LMFT-LP, Licensed Psychologist, Other qualified behavioral health licenses recognized by New York State
• Outpatient behavioral health experience (Preferred)
• Community-based mental health experience (Preferred)
• Telehealth experience (Preferred)
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations (Preferred)
• Bilingual clinicians strongly encouraged to apply, especially those fluent in Spanish and Russian
