About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a multi-state team, focusing on employee relations, onboarding, and compliance. This role involves partnering with leadership to maintain compliant and people-centered HR practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding journey post-offer acceptance, facilitating weekly orientation sessions and conducting follow-ups.
  • Review new hire survey feedback and engagement touchpoints to enhance the integration experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees regarding workplace concerns, guiding resolution with documentation.
  • Support managers through performance coaching and documentation processes, tracking trends to improve workforce health.
  • Act as the first point of contact for compliance, staying updated on labor laws to refine company policies, handbooks, and internal documentation.
  • Drive data integrity across all HR systems, managing confidential records and delivering compliance reporting.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the HR system, supporting the Payroll Team on escalations.
  • Administer manager training related to employee relations, HR policies, and HR systems.
  • Support employees with day-to-day questions about policies, benefits, procedures, and company culture.
  • Create and maintain effective partnerships across departments, acting as a strategic partner to employees and leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and point of contact for team members across all locations on HR-related matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a multi-location or hospitality/service environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multi-state operations (California compliance experience strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing onboarding and employee relations processes.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, and documentation best practices.
  • Impeccable organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • A calm, professional demeanor with high EQ.
