  • Design operating models across various finance delivery channels, defining decision rights, service levels, governance, and economics.
  • Apply a disciplined sequence of fixing process breakdowns, standardizing work, and then automating activities.
  • Develop activity-based FTE baselines, cost-to-serve models, spans and layers analyses, role architectures, and post-automation capacity glidepaths.
  • Lead shared services and GBS stand-ups, migrations, and transformations.
  • Advise clients on BPO provider selection, commercial evaluation, contracting, and governance.
  • Use process taxonomies, process mining outputs, performance benchmarks, and operational data to identify root causes and translate findings into recommendations.
  • Lead finance operating model work in transaction environments, including carve-outs, TSA scoping and exit sequencing, Day 1 minimum viable finance, and standalone cost modeling.
  • Own engagement delivery across scope, budget, profitability, staffing, risk, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Apply AI, automation, analytics, and data tools to accelerate analysis and improve delivery outcomes.
  • Build and expand executive relationships with CFOs, Controllers, transformation leaders, and private equity operating partners.
  • Identify and shape follow-on opportunities across finance transformation, automation, shared services, and other related areas.
  • Lead or support proposals, statements of work, solution design, pricing, and executive presentations.
  • Contribute market-facing thought leadership on finance operating models, AI-enabled service delivery, cost optimization, and the future of finance work.
  • Develop and maintain methodologies, fieldwork tools, interview guides, benchmark interpretation resources, business case models, and reusable client assets.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants.
  • Serve as a Career Advisor and actively participate in performance management, recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and capability development.
  • Collaborate across various practice areas to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Deep functional experience in at least three finance domains such as Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, or Financial Reporting.
  • Experience advising mid-market and private equity-backed organizations.

  • Working knowledge of APQC or comparable process taxonomies, process mining concepts, and finance benchmarks.
  • Experience with finance automation and AI solution design, including organizational, control, data, and adoption implications.
  • Experience with BPO provider markets, selection processes, transition planning, and governance.
  • Proven success leading complex engagements and executive client relationships.
