About the Role
The casino floor customer service attendant is responsible for various service areas of the Operations department.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
- Responsible for the morale and direction of all front-line associates.
- Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, if possible.
- Responsible for providing racing programs and the removal of bill and ticket jams in the self-bet machines in the VLT building and hotel.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Directly supervises the activities of Operations Attendants and directly supervises the activities of all VLT systems in the VLT building.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems with customers and departmental associates.
Requirements
- Previous work experience with the public preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules and regulations, technical procedure manuals, instructions, and basic correspondence, reports and memos.
Education Level
- High School diploma or GED required.
