About the Role
As a Vehicle Transporter, you will be home daily, moving cars between production facilities and delivery hubs for safe and timely customer car delivery. We offer competitive pay with a pay-per-mile compensation structure, bonus opportunities, and a $5,000 relocation package for those moving to Akron, NY.
Responsibilities
- Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance
- Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log
- Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations
- Must adhere to the delivery schedule
- Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars
- Communicate with transportation team
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or equivalent military experience
- Willingness to relocate to Akron, NY
- Must be able to walk 75' and climb a 10' ladder
- Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
- Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
- Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
