About the Role

The mountain safety attendant serves as the on-hill representative for safety and guest service, promoting safety within the sport by providing quality feedback and communication to guests. This role offers the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and be a friendly face of the resort on the mountain.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort policies with guests and employees
  • Provide strong guest service to internal and external guests
  • Maintain mountain safety materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment
  • Ability to ski or ride Hunter Mountain black diamond terrain
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
