About the Role

Clementine Briarcliff Manor is seeking a Per Diem Chef to prepare nourishing, well-balanced meals for adolescents in a residential treatment program. The role involves facilitating normalized eating, overseeing kitchen operations, and collaborating with the clinical team to meet nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare nourishing, well-balanced, and appealing meals for clients.
  • Facilitate and model normalized eating for our clients.
  • Maintain kitchen and oversee work of food service staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical team to meet nutritional needs in a holistic setting.
  • Adapt and create individualized menu items.
  • Order food and supplies needed for kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Significant cooking experience is important.
  • A friendly personality is important in this healthcare setting.
  • Able to prepare dishes with desirable presentation.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and responsibility are critical characteristics.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record as driving is a requirement of the job.

Skills

  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
