- Participate in technical design reviews and make practical recommendations related to scalability, performance, security, resiliency, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and production issues; identify root causes; and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Take strong ownership of DevOps practices for assigned services, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation, release readiness, rollback strategies, and environment configuration.
- Build and maintain production operational capabilities, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts, health checks, runbooks, and service-level indicators.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Azure and Kubernetes.
- Participate in on-call or production-support activities as required and continuously improve incident response, reliability, and recovery practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE partners on cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, monitoring, security, scalability, and operational improvements.
- Apply strong AI skills and AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, code quality, test coverage, documentation, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and responsibly use tools such as GitHub Copilot and AI-driven engineering or observability capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced engineers.
- Participate in hiring activities, including resume reviews, technical questionnaires, and interviews.
- Communicate technical status, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly to project and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to engineering standards, reusable components, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
