About the Role

Parla is a New York-style pizza and Italian-inspired cocktail bar by the team behind The Smith. We offer a vibrant atmosphere for guests to enjoy pizzas, pastas, cocktails, and espresso.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests.
• Service, educate, and sell food and beverages.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food.
• Evaluate guest needs and make recommendations.
• Provide excellent service to ensure guests feel taken care of.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Check guests' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Inform the kitchen of all dietary restrictions.

Requirements

• Love and passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work hard and never settle.
• Genuinely get joy out of making people happy and are able to have fun while working.
• Take pride in personal and team success.
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.
• Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role is preferred.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage.
• Extensive knowledge of wine and/or spirits history.
