About the Role

Meta seeks an experienced leader to develop and maintain strategic relationships with law enforcement agencies, government authorities, and industry coalitions in North America and globally. This role involves managing tactical responses, partnering with cross-functional teams to address safety and law enforcement challenges, and supporting company-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective, executive-level working relationships with law enforcement and government authorities.
• Collaborate with internal legal, investigative, policy, integrity, and communications teams on engagement with law enforcement regarding online and employee safety, security, and related issues.
• Educate law enforcement on user privacy policies and legal request responses.
• Work with legal and law enforcement response teams and outside counsel on governmental data requests.
• Develop and refer relevant matters to law enforcement authorities with investigation teams.
• Enhance mitigation efforts against high-risk harms and integrity problems with internal teams and global safety organizations, and coordinate these efforts globally.
• Adapt to evolving organizational needs by taking on additional responsibilities.
• Support the company and its employees during emergencies.
• Support platform launches and initiatives.
• Travel frequently in North America and other regions, covering different countries and supporting colleagues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of extensive experience in a security, safety, or law enforcement role within the private sector.
• Experience with law enforcement agencies regarding data requests.
• Experience processing legal documents (e.g., subpoenas, court orders, search warrants).
• Technical knowledge and experience related to cybercrime and online investigations.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder programs with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic decisions in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
• Experience delivering presentations and communicating complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience working off-hours, including weekends and holidays, to support emergency matters.
