About the Role

HUB International is seeking an Account Executive to join their Small Business Commercial Lines team. This role involves managing client accounts, processing policies, and negotiating with insurance companies to protect individuals, families, and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Marketing new business for producers and market renewals.
• Checking the accuracy of policies, endorsements, and audits.
• Entering and maintaining client detail in the computer system.
• Reviewing and gathering information to process renewal/new business policies.
• Managing the renewal process and preparing renewal proposals.
• Answering telephones and assisting clients with coverage questions.
• Communicating client needs and problems with company personnel.
• Understanding agency and company rating systems and websites.
• Negotiating rates and coverage with underwriters.
• Following up on requested changes and renewals with insurance companies.
• Maintaining an accurate suspense system for all items requiring a response.
• Performing special projects as requested by management.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of Commercial Lines account management experience with an established broker.
• 2+ years of prior office/customer service experience.
• Valid Property & Casualty Broker’s License required.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
