About the Role
Ace Hardware is seeking a CDL-A Shuttle Driver to operate between Saco, Maine and Wilton, New York. This position primarily involves transporting and exchanging trailers between locations, ensuring efficient movement of freight throughout our network. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy predictable schedules, minimal freight handling, and consistent miles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a dedicated shuttle route
- Transport trailers between Saco, ME and Wilton, NY
- Perform trailer drop and hook operations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensure compliance with all DOT safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and facility personnel
- Deliver the exceptional service Ace Hardware is known for
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum one year of verifiable over-the-road driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts when needed
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Dependable, professional, and punctual

Salary/Compensations
- Mileage Pay: Starting between $0.58 - $0.63 per mile
- Practical mileage pay
