Responsibilities
- Collecting and posting payments at checkout
- Verifying insurance and coordinating benefits
- Reconciling accounts
- Preparing daily closing reports and deposit slips
- Responding to billing questions with professionalism, empathy, and calm clarity
Requirements
- Experience with healthcare billing and patient accounting
- Insurance verification and benefits coordination knowledge
- Payment posting, reconciliation, and cash-handling accuracy
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service
- Proficiency with practice management/EHR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
