About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at TriNet, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, identifying, contacting, and qualifying sales opportunities to generate new business. This role is designed to lay the foundation for a successful sales career with a high-growth company.
Responsibilities
- Secure meetings with the right people, at the right place, at the right time to create high quality sales opportunities for the field sales team.
- Focus on connecting with decision makers, extending conversations, and securing meetings for the field sales team.
- Use internal sales tools and resources to execute a high-touch sales cadence on prospects.
- Make approximately 80 cold calls per day to gauge prospect interest.
- Initiate contact with prospects through a multi-channel outbound prospecting strategy using phone calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Attend meetings you’ve scheduled and conduct routine check-ins with your Sales Consultant for feedback on created opportunities.
- Execute a follow-up strategy on prospects who were not initially interested or did not purchase.
- Develop new sales strategies based on personal successes and failures and share insights with peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Typically less than 1 year of sales prospecting and research experience preferred.
- Minimal travel required.
